These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the ArchFrontline website, operated by the Authoritarianism Research Center (A. Goštauto 8-153C, 01108 Vilnius, Lithuania). By using the site, you agree to these terms.

All articles, analysis, images, and editorial material on ArchFrontline are protected by copyright and owned by the Authoritarianism Research Center or its contributors. You may:

  • Read, share links, and print individual articles for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Quote short passages (up to 200 words) with clear attribution to ArchFrontline and a direct link to the original article.

Republishing full articles, systematic scraping, translation into other languages, or any commercial use requires prior written permission. Contact editor@archfrontline.com.

Third-party material

Some articles include quotes, photographs, or references attributed to third parties. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owners and is used within the limits of fair use or licensing agreements. Credits are shown where applicable.

User accounts

Some site features (following sections, saving articles) require a free account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when registering.
  • Keep your credentials confidential; one person, one account.
  • Not use the account for automated scraping, spamming, or activity that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, without notice where a serious or repeated violation has occurred.

Acceptable use

When using ArchFrontline you agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, servers, or connected systems.
  • Interfere with normal operation of the site (denial-of-service attempts, exploiting vulnerabilities, injecting malicious code).
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) beyond what our robots.txt permits.

Editorial independence and disclaimers

Analysis, opinion, and interviews published on ArchFrontline reflect the views of the named editors, contributors, or interviewees at the time of publication. Views may not represent the position of the Authoritarianism Research Center as an institution.

ArchFrontline does not provide legal, financial, investment, medical, or policy advice. Editorial content is intended to inform public understanding, not to serve as a basis for individual decision-making.

Articles may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of external sites.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Authoritarianism Research Center and ArchFrontline are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any dispute arising from use of the site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Lithuanian courts.
